Hand Garden tools

Get your hands on some good quality hand tools.

These  hand garden tools are a few of the basic tools that most gardeners use on a regular basis.
Even if you use a roto tiller, mower or tractor you will still find a garden fork, shovel, rake and hoe useful and necessary tools.

Try these Hand Garden tools - from Seeds of Change which is the nation’s oldest 100% certified organic seed company. They also have garden supplies and well made tools.

Hula Hoe

Garden hoe
The Hula Hoe (also called stirrup hoe) saves your back from long hours of hand weeding, keeping you upright and moving through the garden quickly and efficiently.  The blade remains under the surface of the soil as you push and pull, cutting weeds at their crowns.  The Swiss-made spring steel stirrup-shaped blade and American ash handle combine for a durable, efficient tool you won't want to be without.

I haven't included a wheel barrow, rake or round nosed shovel as these tools are easily available at a local hardware store and can also be found in the gardening companies listed above and to the right.  More information and suggestions for garden tools.
The quality garden hand tools listed above and to the left are hard to find and it is worth getting quality tools. You can find cheap garden forks, pruners etc. at your local hardware store but they don't usually last long.
