Garden Plans
Every Sunday I will be posting my gardening plans for the next week, in case you need a little inspiration! I live in far Northern California zone 8-9 so it gets pretty cold here. You will have to adapt my schedule to your own climate. This is a new idea so this week I am starting by letting you know what I have been up to so far.
Pruning apple trees
I have been doing lots of fruit tree pruning and Starting tomatoes and peppers and brassicas in the green house. Planting tomatoes in the green house in early March will give us some early tomatoes before the 4th of July if all goes well. Last year we had a killer frost and lost our first planting of tomatoes and we had a really cold spring and we still got tomatoes by the middle of July.
Planting Greens
We should be getting peppers by late July and lettuce and spinach and brassicas (cabbage family) by May. You can also look over some of the other posts to see what other folks are up to and we would love to know what you are up too so don't hesitate to post your plans and accomplishments yourself.
Pictures are not necessary but make a great addition.
Happy planting

So get a good start on your gardens today.
