Christmas greens

I have some insulated glass windows would they be alright to use in a small greenhouse?

Insulated Glass is great for a green house especially if you already have some on hand. Its great to reuse materials whenever possible. In our Northern California Climate we start planting for our spring /summer garden in our green house in early to mid February. We also plant greens for the winter in early September which we are just starting to harvest from our green house now.

Greenhouse Windows, YES!

We have done this and it works great. The two greenhouses we have have a combo of Solex. Tm. and windows. The windows are in the back and let the sun from the east and south come in without any problem. This also is a safety issue. The kids are not walking next to the glass when they water for me. We have a pile of windows and would love to make another one for more winter crops. Good Luck.
